Mark Hoppus of blink-182 spoke with AbsolutePunk for a new interview and let slip that the band is not against playing ten year or anniversary shows. Untitled is of course coming up on its ten year anniversary next month, but it’s highly doubtful that the band will be announcing one-offs.
Check out the interview below:
One of the big trends in music in these days, especially among bands that have been around as long as you have, is doing these special anniversary tours or anniversary re-releases of albums. Would you ever consider doing a re-release of an album or playing an album front-to-back live?
Ha ha! Can’t tell you!
Whoa, so I’m assuming you guys have thought about that then [laughs]?
We are open to the idea.
I know the 10th anniversary for Untitled is coming up in a month or so…
Yeah, like November 13th? 18th?
Yeah, the 18th I believe.
Yeah, around then. It’ll be 10 years.
